Once a printmaker, one is always inclined to use printmaking techniques in one's work. This collection is a broad collection of intaglio embossings using a wide selection of plates and handmade matrix. I have recently been using a computer-driven plotter cutter to cut words and poems in paper explicitly made for the poem or broadside. I termed the word free-cast to describe this process, where there is no restrive mold for the poem or broadside.
